Chronicle Conducive To Books The Teacher (DS Imogen Grey #1)
You think you know who to trust? You think you know the difference between good and evil? You’re wrong...The body of the head teacher of an exclusive Devon school is found hanging from the rafters in the assembly hall.
Hours earlier he’d received a package, and only he could understand the silent message it conveyed. It meant the end.
As Exeter suffers a rising count of gruesome deaths, troubled DS Imogen Grey and DS Adrian Miles must solve the case and make their city safe again.
But as they’re drawn into a network of corruption, lies and exploitation, every step brings them closer to grim secrets hidden at the heart of their community.
And once they learn what’s motivating this killer, will they truly want to stop him?
SMART. GRIPPING. GRUESOME.
This is a psychological crime thriller in a class of its own.
WARNING: Most definitely not for the faint-hearted!

ETA: Okay so I was a bit of an arsehole in this review. I didn't like the book and of course my big mouth just puts it all out there. The author of this book came and "liked" this review. She did not tell me that I was wrong. That shows all kinds of class in my opinion. Katerina Diamond, I'll read your next book just because you just showed pure class. <3A one star may be a bit high of a rating on this one. When I saw the warning on this book that it may not be for the "faint of heart" IInteresting read is "The Teacher"It warns that this is not for the faint hearted. I would say nope it definitely is NOT for the faint hearted. If you can't cope with descriptive random violence you may be in trouble. However that aside, basically if you can cope with a bit of Hannibal Lector style you'll be fine - its a great psychological thriller, possibly with a few too many points of view but you get used to it.The Teacher is a fast and furious read of the type that will keep you up at night
When someone tells you 'not to do that', you question it.When someone says 'not sure if you will like that book'Then when you hear "not for the faint hearted" my stomach dropped at the same time as my brain kicking in........take that challenge, go on, you know you want to, you know friends who have read this and said its not a book to be missed.So......I blame you!I also say....thank you!Because this is a read certainly that will keep your stomach churning, this will keep your mind ticking,

The Teacher begins with a teacher receiving a package that somehow tells him that his fate is sealed. That night a man comes and forces him to hang himself in the school where he is found the next day. But our teacher had secrets, he liked young boys. Thus begins the reign of a serial killer who targets those with secrets. As the gruesome deaths pile up DS Imogen Grey and DS Adrian Miles must solve the case. The entire idea behind this story is one that I should have loved, unfortunately I ended
After receiving a parcel and a few hours had passed the head teacher of an exclusive Devon school was found hanging from the rafters in the assembly hall. The number of gruesome deaths is rising so DS Grey and DS Miles need to get to the bottom of why this is happening. This is quite a gruesome book so not recommend for the squeamish I'd like to thank Net Galley, Harper Collins UK Avon and the author Katerina Diamond for ARC in return for an honest review
Wow! This one was so difficult to rate!Things I liked:How easy it was to read the story! I also liked Parker and Abbey and was hooked with their story, past and present and cared for them more than I did for the detective duo!Things I didn't like:The detectives had plenty of time in the story but it was mainly about their personal problems and when they finally did catch up with the events other were the ones who solved the story for them! Their contribution was so little that I didn't really
Wondered why everyone is hooked on The Teacher? Well I will tell you.It starts with a dramatic death. A head teacher of a posh private school receives a book through the post, that sends him into a panic. He knows he is doomed and nemesis is coming. He is found hanging. This is only the start. Other men are hunted, leading to gory terrible deaths. Detectives Adrian Miles and Imogen Grey, misfits with black marks on their records, are paired together and given the case. Added to this is a girl
