I guess this is a self help book. The author is a gestalt psychotherapist, and he is one of two the main characters of this book, or that was my impression. The other is Demián, which is he is treating. His method is to tell Demián stories, and talk about things in relation to these stories. To be quite honest, I didn't really connect that well with the self help aspect of this book, but this is an interesting collection of folktales, parables, and jokes from all over. Great book! It's worth reading and not just once. All those stories make you start to think about life, our characteristics, our behaviour. This book starts a little flame/itch so you start digging in yourself.

When I first started to read this book, I thought: this therapist is one big high hat with self esteem higher than Eiffel Tower. He wants to show up too much for my taste. But it is a hell of a good therapist, some of his stories are still sitting in my mind making it stir... Like the one about lying and liars. I don't feel hurt any longer because someone had lied to me! Anyway, I become interested in this type of therapy. Holistic.
I enjoyed reading the book. It is really easy to read and gives you something to think about after every chapter. I couldn't get all of the stories though.
I prolonged finishing this book because I liked it so much that I never wanted it to end. All of the stories were very interesting and taught me something new or gave me a new perspective on certain topics. This is not your typical self-help book, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone! ( I don't usually choose to read or like reading that genre of books but I fell in love with this one.)
One of the best books I have ever read.Highly recommended, especially for the "restless"

"Let me tell you a story" is a book of short extension made of little tales that need to be read calmly, with mime and especially with a lot of personal reflection. I advise you to read it slowly, savoring it like a fine wine and leaving the moral hidden in each chapter resonates through your head like an echo throughout the day, this will make you reflect more deeply into every psychological tip that Bucay tries to teach us. It's a book I recommend to everyone because I think we all need fromI guess this is a self help book.
