Relation Supposing Books Deep Fathom

Ex-Navy SEAL Jack Kirkland surfaces from an aborted underwater salvage mission to find Earth burning. Solar flares have triggered a series of gargantuan natural disasters. Earth-quakes and hellfire rock the globe. Air Force One has vanished from the skies with America's president on board.

Now, with the United States on the narrow brink of a nuclear apocalypse, Kirkland must pilot his oceangoing exploration ship, Deep Fathom, on a desperate mission miles below the ocean's surface. There, devastating secrets await him--and a power an ancient civilization could not contain that has been cast out into modern day, where it will forever alter a world that's already racing toward its own destruction.

Column Regarding Books Deep Fathom
3.5 stars. This is an engaging "beach read" for guys. Action, adventure, a love interest and a bit of sci-fi/thriller thrown in for good measure. The bad guys are bad, and the good guys are good, yet flawed. Nothing a good woman won't fix, though. I probably won't read any more from this author, unless I'm feeling like a need a shoot-'em-up/exploding stuff fix.Language isn't great. So beware.

I feel that if I had read this book before all the others I would have liked it more because this was definitely not Rollins' best work. The story line was a bit choppy and unbelievable and some of the characters could have be developed a bit more. But don't get me wrong the story is still very entertaining and fast paced. I would still recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading "Indiana Jones" type books.

Another fun Rollins read. Jack may be one of the more developed protagonists in Rollins's non-Sigma Force novels. Again we see the Rollin's winning formula at work here. However, this read seemed different. As in Excavation, the pace was different than in other Rollins books (including the Sigma Force Books). That pulse pounding sense of a snowball rolling down hill and grow larger and larger until it's a veritable rolling avalanche all its own didn't start until later in this book than in most

Every so often you just need to get away from it all and read a no-holds-barred, action-oriented, good guy vs bad guy action story. This one fits the bill to a tee. I have read three other books by Rollins so far and to tell the truth I was starting to get a little worried. The plots seemed to be getting a bit thin (or unrealistic) and the characters a little cliched. But Deep Fathom was a pleasant switch even though it is one of his earlier novels. It kept me turning pages and I cared about the

Awesome idea! Rollins knows adventure, that's for sure.

Interesting. That is the best word I can think of to describe this book. There were times I was extremely bored and times I had adrenaline pumping. There were times my eyes rolled in annoyance and times I smiled along with characters. This was my first Rollins book and will definitely try another. Overall, an entertaining read.
