I cried. Enough said.But really, when it comes to a Brigid Kemmerer novel there are never enough words. Because regardless of the plot, Kemmerer finds ways to make you read emotion instead of words, feelings instead of chapters. And before you know it, you're lost in the epic world of the Merrick brothers.I loved Secret because it is truthful, real, and powerful. Hopeful and brave. Secret is intensely romantic and beautifully told. It's a story so raw with emotion that the entire novel feels a



4.5 starsIts been a very long time since I finished a book in one sitting (a couple of hours, really) not daring to blink or look away lest I miss something important. Brigid Kemmerer hit it out of the ballpark once again. Secret is, I dare say, her best Elemental book so far. The sensitivity and subtlety she showed with Nick launched her from an author whose books I enjoy to someone I admire and deeply respect. Unlike Hunters book (and Gabriels for that matter), Secret has very little action

Nick is my favourite and I would die for him! Ugh, I can't believe I only have one book left in this series :(
