I felt so good after finishing this novel, so inspiring.

Ammar has crafted a delightful story. It features a gifted cardiac surgeon who fails to save a young girl from a viral heart disease. Avinash Singh is driven to find a cure and draws upon the stories from his ancestors to find the courage to develop a technique to help future sufferers.The stories from his ancestors are well researched and written and provide the back stories that we need to see how Avinash makes good on his promises. He draws upon the heroism and courage of his ancestors and

Beautiful novel that weaves three generations, each separated by hundreds of years, together. Journeying through these tales along Avinash, we learn valuable lessons from our history. We learn the power of courage and unorthodox thinking. We learn the power of never giving up and standing our ground, even against unbeatable odds. We learn the power of one man's worth. Everything is tied so beautifully by Ammar Habib and Dr. Sinha. Well done!!

Enjoyed the book very much and I do not read books that are history related but you had to have this history to enjoy the story. Such a fantastic author never want his books to end.

This is a great story that follows three generations of the same family but in different time periods! One is set in the 13th century. The 2nd is set in the 1850s. And the final one is set in present day NYC. Using these stories, Habib and Sinha do a great job of weaving the themes of coexistence, honor, and courage into the story. This is a great read for fans of the historical fiction genre who like stories with hopeful and uplifting messages!

Such a powerful story that needs to be read by millions in today's world. Though it explores the history of India/Pakistan, the novel is really about the importance of coexistence and the importance of embracing our gifts as a responsibility to mankind. I loved that the two authors had different religious backgrounds because that adds to the authenticity of the book's themes.
