The most beautiful story for all book lovers. Isn't that what we all wish? That we could vanish into the world of the books, talk to the characters and live their lifes. In Inkheart this gets true. Maggie's father has the ability to let the characters become real when he reads out loud. But the rule is that somebody also has to vanish into the world of the book. That happened to Maggie's mother.

If you love books, you will love this book. I mean the quotes. There are so many nice quotes about books in this book. I love them all so muc and they are so true. The characters are amazing. The book is so exciting. The way it is written. Everything about this book is perfect. I could read it again and again. They are all so big that I can't remember what exactly happened and so it is exciting everytime. This is a book to read out loud and enjoy the taste of the words in your mouth. And no, it is not only for children. It is for everybody who loves books and great stories

Weigh Up Containing Books Tintenherz [1-4] (Tintenwelt Split-Volume Audio CD #1.1)

Ein wirklich gutes Buch, sehr spannend. Erster Teil einer dreiteiligen Buchreihe, die aber gut in sich abgeschlossen ist. Zu Anfang is es etwas langatmig, aber dann will man nicht mehr aufhören.

Sometimes, I wonder how does it feel when I meet my own imaginary characters in real life? I finally knew what it felt like after I finished reading this wonderful novel. The story inspired me a lot. I hope I can continue reading two other books of Inkworld :)

Really nice story, but a little slow for my taste. But I do love a story about how reading can be an adventure, dangerous, unpredictable.

Beautiful writing, but I couldn't agree with how it ends...

I have once been under the impression that Cornelia Funke's book "Inkheart" is to be considered a children's book. Most books that fall into this category usually do not come within my personal radar range.However, after coincidentally talking to a colleague about this book I made up my mind about reading it, and I am glad to say I have not been disappointed.In short, if this is the typical children's book that is to be gotten out there I damn well want to be a child! :-)This book is charming

Ich weiss gar nicht wie oft ich dieses Buch schon verschlungen habe, doch es fasziniert mich immer wieder. Bücher sind meine Welt und meine größte Leidenschaft, weshalb ich mich auch so sehr mit Meggie identifizieren kann. Welche Leseratte würde sich nicht auch wünschen, seinen Lieblingshelden einmal selbst zu begegnen? Tintenherz ist eindeutig das beste Buch der Tintentriologie.
