SHATTERED is the first book in the "Shattered Hearts Duet". It is a fast N/A story about friends and family. There are moments that change everyone's lives and finding a new normal can sometimes be difficult to navigate.I really liked the way the story was told in many different POVs, there is even a chapter told from "Angel's father's" point of view. I think it made an extremely intriguing way to read. The chapters are short yet full if dialog and details. I never felt bogged down by too muchWow!! This book seriously packs everything in. Pain, heartache, friendship, love, trust, you name it this book has it all! I was completely drawn in from the beginning, I couldn't get enough. Nicole Banks has some amazing writing talent. This book was full of tons of laughter and tears for me. I love the tension that we see right off the bat with Angel and Jas. Its that tension that you know once they both admit to themselves, its just going to be explosive in all aspects of the word. Jas is a strong character although it takes her some time to remember it and bask in her own strength. Angel is just yummy, from the way he cares about Jas and down to some of his mannerisms.
