Comment On About Books Fruits Basket, Vol. 16 (Fruits Basket #16)
I enjoyed this one, although a lot of the content of this volume was flashbacks. Kyoko's and Katsuya's relationship was a little creepy though...not gonna lie. Their story was sweet but a little...uh...problematic?

I love this series and Kyoko and Katsuya's relationship, but removed a star because no 13/14 year old should ever be dating an assistant teacher. Honestly no 18 year old should be either but at least its legal (not including the ethical responsibilities a teacher has to their job).

My tears have been flowing more freely.

Looks like were there and back again at dealing with past traumas. The readers are given an insight with Kyokos backstory this time, which deals with heartache and betrayal, nothing like the mother of Tohru Honda we hear so much about. Kyoko was a completely different person from her current self before losing her life to a car accident. This is a nostalgia series for me. There are definitely flaws and some things that don't hold up now as the series grows older, but it remains one of my favorite manga of all time (hence why it'll get five stars regardless). It starts of with Kyo, but then suddenly goes in Tohru's past. Or so, when her mother and father are maybe still alive. Her mother was in a family, her dad didn't care about love, he mostly cared about his image at work. Her mother cared about her image of beauty, to be in shape, they didn't really care about Tohru's mother. (In high school) she then meets a student teacher, and they start to hang-out a lot. She gets in an accident and she doesn't get to do her high school entrance exam. She
